RARA Electronics news for February, 2008.

The RARA President, Mr. S.G. Kim, attended the IEEE Applied Power Electronics
Conference and Exposition.

Mr. Kim was accompanied to the conference with one of RARA's leading
distributors, Isotek Corporation, out of Swansea, Massachusetts.  In the
above picture form left to right is Pamela Barboza, Sales Manager, and
Roy Furtado, Product Manager.

RARA Electronics news for January, 2008.

 

One of RARA's closest European friends, Universal Import Elektronik AB, recently
exhibited at
Electronics/EP 2008, in Stockholm, Sweden.

RARA Electronics news for October, 2007.

RARA exhibited at Electronic Asia 2007 in Hong Kong this year.

RARA Electronics news for July, 2007.

Rhopoint Components, our longstanding and exclusive European distributor
visited RARA this month.

In this picture , from left to right, is Paul Caston, Marketing Manager
and Ian Moore, Field Sales Manager.  Paul and Ian are soaking up the
heady Asian atmosphere of Chungaecheon.  This is a recently completed
project of the Seoul City Council where rivers, that have been covered
over for decades, were unearthed and the surrounding banks landscaped
for the benefit of pedestrians.


 

RARA Electronics news for May, 2007.

RC Microelectronica S.A., our newest, exclusive agent for Spain and Portugal
visited Incheon and the RARA factory in May.

RARA Electronics news for December, 2006.

RARA's products were exhibited at SPS/IPC Drives in Nuremburg Germany, by our
UK distributor Rhopoint Components Ltd.

In this picture several of our products are on display including the
IP65 rated ULF resistor, in the poster, and our new 2800 watt IRV
resistor, on the table.

RARA Electronics news for November, 2006

November was the world famous Munich Electronica.  This is the largest exhibition
of its kind in the world.  This year was the first time RARA exhibited here without
a co-exhibitor.

September was the Korean Electronics Show 2006.

In this picture Administration Manager, Mr. S.W. Hur, is conversing

RARA Electronics news for April, 2006.

Last month Mr. Park Ju Ha, RARA Overseas Marketing Director, embarked
on a solo 18 month trans Eurasian bike journey.  This incredible journey will
take him through dozens of countries and thousands of kilometers or road.

RARA Electronics news for April, 2006.

Last month the RARA team went on a little road trip to Beijing.  We
had a lot of fun and were more than a little tired at the end.  Below
we are in
Tiananmen Square.

This picture was taken of at the Great Wall of China.  It is difficult to
fathom the grandeur of this structure because it is 6000km in length.
We probably saw only about 300m of it which works out to 0.005%!


 


RARA Electronics news for March, 2006.


This month RARA attended shanghai Electronica 2006.  This is the same
organization that produces the world famous Munich Electronica.  RARA
had a booth, pictured above, where we met with potential partners in
the resistive components field.


RARA Electronics news for January, 2006.


The new RARA R&D Centre will come online this month.  Although RARA
has had an R&D program for some time, this new centre is registered with
the Korean government and entitled to certain benefits.  We can receive
government subsidized R&D specialists and monetary grants that will open
up new opportunities for RARA and all of our customers.

RARA Electronics news for December, 2005.

Another addition to the RARA factory has been completed.  This brings the
total floor space to 1472m2.  RARA is currently growing at a pace of about
10% per annum.  We would like to thank all of our customers and distributors
for this growth.


 


RARA Electronics news for October, 2005.

The Korea Electronics Show 2005 was held in the new Kintex Exhibition
Centre in Ilsan, Kyungi Province.  The show spanned October 11-15 and
was informative and entertaining.

influx of new buyers.

RARA Electronics news for March, 2005.

TOSHIBA

RARA completed 3 sets of 11000V Neutral Grounding Resistors for the
JEBEL ALI POWER AND DESALINATION STATION “L” PHASE I DUBAI.
This project was completed in partnership with Toshiba Thermal Power
Systems.


Each of these sets comprised Three panels.  The specifications were:
Indoor, IP52, 600A, 11ohm, time rating: 1 min., rated voltage: 11KV/1.73
They weighed over four tonnes each.


In this picture, as one of the units nears completion, last minute inspections
are made to ensure conformity to required specs.


The elements are comprised of stainless steel strips.  Large grey
Insulators can be seen between the elements and the case.

Show.

RARA Electronics news for October, 2004.

From October 6th to the 10th RARA attended the 2004 Korea Electronics
Show.  This year we introduced some of RARA's new products, as well
as some of our new RF component line.  The show was a success and we
look forward to next year.
