The linear taper characteristic ensures a predictable, proportional relationship between wiper position and output resistance, making the CN-15 well suited to precision trimming and calibration tasks.
The terminal arrangement follows a standard three-terminal layout: terminals a and c serve as the end connections across the full resistance track, while terminal b is the central terminal connected to the sliding wiper. All three terminals are configured for direct PCB insertion, supporting clean integration into professional circuit board assemblies without additional wiring or adapters.
The resistance range spans 100Ω to 4.7MΩ using E6 preferred values, providing broad coverage for signal-level trimming and bias adjustment applications.
